Lodging: Sunset Motel, Bandon & RiverHouse, Florence
Limit: 8 Participants
Tuition: $1125

Explore the coast of Oregon with professional photographer and educator, Les Saucier. Oregon’s Pacific coast is a diverse Eco-system that offers photographers countless photo opportunities. From ancient volcanic sea stacks to soft green lichen dripping from the branches of wind blown cedar trees, the scenic Pacific coast is a must in the lifetime of a serious photographer.

This seven-day workshop will feature Bandon and Florence, OR. We’ll begin in Bandon, where you’ll be able to shoot huge sea stacks on the beach, sunsets and sunrises over the Pacific, landscape views of the rocky coast line, ancient rock formations, a fishing harbor, and natural flora and fauna. Moving on to Florence, we’ll shoot massive sand dunes in early morning light, old growth forest, a lighthouse overlooking the sea, and tidal pools teaming with sea life. There are photographs everywhere in and between these lively coastal towns.

In addition to in-the field shooting and on-location direction, you’ll receive hours of classroom instruction and critiques of the photos you are shooting during the workshop. Participants will learn how to better capture the graphics, the light and the emotion of the moment in their photos. Les Saucier’s unique approach to the “Art of Seeing” will be taught in the classroom and in the field. You’ll learn how to better your photography by showing the world what you see and how you see it through the lens of your camera.

Tuition is $1125.00 per person. Lodging, transportation and meals are additional. Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangement. Lodging information will be provided upon registration for the workshop. Dining arrangements will be made as a group most days and evenings.

The number of participants for the Oregon Workshop is limited. Early registration is recommended to ensure your spot in the group. Those who have registered for Les Saucier workshops in the past are eligible for a 10 percent discount. Use promo code RETURN10 when you register online.
